QWED Financev3.0.1

# Exact checks for banking and financial AI.

Verification middleware for financial calculations and payment messages. It recomputes what an AI produced, from loan schedules to bond yields, and checks messages against ISO 20022 and SWIFT before they move money.

## What it checks

- FinanceVerifier

    ### Loans, interest and cash flows

NPV, IRR, future and present value, monthly payments, amortisation schedules and total interest.

- ComplianceGuard

    ### KYC and AML rules

Checks a compliance decision against the rules with the Z3 solver.

- MessageGuard

    ### Payment messages

ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT messages, with IBAN and BIC checksums.

- CalendarGuard

    ### Dates and day counts

Day-count conventions such as 30/360, Actual/360 and Actual/365, and business days.

- QueryGuard

    ### Database queries

SQL must be read-only, touch only allowed tables and expose no personal data columns.

- CrossGuard

    ### Combined checks

A SWIFT message together with sanctions screening, and SQL together with personal data rules.

- BondGuard

    ### Bonds

Yield to maturity, duration, convexity, accrued interest and dirty price.

- FXGuard

    ### Foreign exchange

Forward and cross rates, swap points, NDF settlement and arbitrage.

- RiskGuard

    ### Risk metrics

VaR, CVaR, beta, Sharpe and Sortino ratios, maximum drawdown and information ratio.

- DerivativesGuard

    ### Options

    Black-Scholes prices and the Greeks.

- ISOGuard

    ### ISO 20022 schemas

Messages checked against the ISO 20022 JSON schemas.

## Mistakes it is built to catch

Nobody checked any of it

### Without QWED Finance

- **Floating-point drift** Ordinary computer arithmetic turns 0.1 + 0.2 into 0.30000000000000004. Across thousands of payments, that adds up.

- **An unsafe database query** An AI asked for a report writes a query that drops the accounts table or reads customer data it should never see.

- **A broken payment message** An IBAN with a bad checksum or a field that breaks ISO 20022 fails downstream, after the AI said it was fine.

Each one checked before it is used

### With QWED Finance

1. **Floating-point drift** FinanceVerifier Recomputed exactly, the drifted figure is held.

    VERIFIED · DENY
2. **An unsafe database query** QueryGuard The query is not read-only, so it never runs.

    BLOCKED · DENY
3. **A broken payment message** MessageGuard The IBAN checksum fails, so the message is held.

    VERIFIED · DENY

What is proven correct goes through, with a record of why.

QWED returns the decision; your integration acts on it.

Good to know

- QWED Finance checks figures and messages. It is not a trading platform, a market data feed or a replacement for your risk models.
- Checks for MiFID II and Basel III are still in progress.

[**Use case: Banking and payments** Interest, fees, loan figures and payment messages recalculated exactly before money moves.](https://qwedai.com/solutions/banking)
