Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 17, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to QWED Security ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing the QWED Security GitHub App or using our verification services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the service.

2. Services

QWED Security provides automated, deterministic code verification services for GitHub repositories, including mathematical validation, logic checking, code security analysis, and schema verification. The service runs as a GitHub App and integrates into your pull request workflow.

3. Usage & License

  • Grant: By installing the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and analyze the code in your configured repositories for the sole purpose of providing verification reports.
  • Source Code: We do not store your source code permanently. Code is processed in ephemeral memory and discarded immediately after analysis.
  • Ownership: All intellectual property in your repositories remains yours. We claim no ownership over your code.
  • Our IP: All QWED verification engines, algorithms, and infrastructure remain the intellectual property of QWED-AI. The open-source components are licensed under Apache 2.0.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to process code you do not have authorization to analyze.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or circumvent the verification engines.
  • Use the service in violation of applicable laws or GitHub's own Terms of Service.

5. Plans & Limitations

The free "Hobby" plan is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Paid plans include priority support and SLAs as defined in your subscription or enterprise agreement. We reserve the right to modify plan features with reasonable notice.

6. Termination

You may terminate your use of the service at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. Upon termination, we will delete all metadata associated with your installation within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

QWED Security is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that verification results are error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted. Verification results are advisory and do not constitute legal, financial, or security advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QWED-AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if unresolved.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when changes are made.
